1. The Provincial Inspectorate is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee with the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in state management of inspection work, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption; conducting inspections, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption in accordance with the provisions of law.
2. The Provincial Inspectorate has legal status, its own seal and account; is subject to the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee in terms of organization, staffing and work, directly by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and is subject to the direction and guidance on organization and professional skills of the Government Inspectorate.
